To create a nationwide school-based circular learning ecosystem where educational resources are optimized, environmental impact is reduced, and students actively participate in community responsibility.
Education should build character as much as knowledge.
Through textbook reuse, students practice:
BookBridge Foundation is a school focused community initiative that encourages students to share and reuse textbooks within their own school networks.
The idea was inspired by Atharva Singh, a Class 11 student, who observed that thousands of perfectly usable textbooks go unused each year ,while many families face rising education costs.
His simple question sparked the movement:
"Why can't seniors pass their books to juniors?"
This idea was transformed into a structured digital platform by Manvendra Singh, a technology professional, who designed the system to make textbook sharing simple, organized, and safe within school communities.
The platform was technically developed and implemented by Ashutosh Singh & Chandan Chaurasia, Web Developer, who built the digital infrastructure for seamless listing, matching, and communication.
BookBridge Foundation is proudly supported and funded by Dugra Prasad & Sons Charitable Trust, which promotes education, sustainability, and value-based community initiatives.
Every year, thousands of school books are used for just one academic session and then left unused, stored away, or discarded. This practice increases a heavy burden on our environment.
At BookBridge, we believe sharing school books is a small act with powerful impact.
